Bill Meyer
Engaging, informed, and opinionated (in a “gentlemanly” way) Bill Meyer is the morning voice of the Rogue Valley on southern Oregon’s dominant News/Talk outlet, KMED – Medford.
Bill has stimulated morning conversation since 9/11/2001. Voted #1 local radio personality in two Mail Tribune Reader’s Choice awards.
Bill is deeply involved with the community, including emcee and promotion roles with the “Live to Dance with the ARC Stars”, which showcases the talents and abilities of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He also promotes and participates in the Josephine County “First Crush” event, raising money for the Josephine County Food Bank and ROC Food Pantry.
Bill works with the Jackson County Republican Party through emceeing the Lincoln Day Dinner, and Reagan BBQ fundraisers for the Jackson County Republican Women, in addition to hosting party fundraisers in his home.
A native of Pittsburgh, his 39-year broadcast career includes stops in Seattle, Sacramento, Modesto, even a freezing 2 years in Fargo, but the Rogue Valley is his true home.
